You're invited to a special afternoon celebrating connection—to land, culture, and each other.

Join us on Friday, June 13 from 1:30 to 3:30 PM at the School Farm (located between Howe Sound Secondary and Squamish Elementary) for a vibrant gathering to mark the creation of the new Indigenous Garden and the continued growth of the School Farm Project.

What to Expect:

  • A traditional welcome from Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw Elders

  • Guided tours of the Indigenous Garden with plant names shared in the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh language

  • Walkthroughs of the school farm and seasonal treat tastings

  • A community celebration with students, families, funders, and friends

This event is part of our ongoing work to centre Indigenous knowledge and deepen community-rooted food education. To learn more about the garden and its vision, visit our Indigenous Plant Garden project page.

Everyone is welcome—school families, Squamish community members, funders, and friends. Come celebrate the relationships we're growing through land, learning, and shared action.
